A group of teenagers are all fighting to get what they want out of life.

Kayla; sweet,smart and sixteen, struggles to put things back into perspective after she makes the biggest mistake of her life.

We take in the intensely interlocking lives of the other teenagers: Rueben, dealing and stealing to win his father's approval; loud and feisty Maiya with an addiction to drinking and partying; Dwayne, struggling to keep a roof over his and his mother's head; Marcus, hiding a dark secret that could potentially ruin a lot of lives; and Jada, looking for love in all the wrong places.

Will they all get what they want in the end?
